Sage 100 – End Of Life

Sage 100 – End Of Life

Sage 100 is a workhorse ERP from the Sage stable that has been around for decades. The platform, designed as a client-server system with options to use PVX or SQL Server technologies has been around for a long time and has a dense feature set that have been used and matured for a long time.

One of the frequent questions we get about Sage 100 is when a certain version is no longer supported or end of life. Each Sage 100 version reaches end of life when there are three newer versions available. According to Sage, the system publisher, they support current and two prior versions of Sage 100. Here is an article from Sage that states their policy for Sage 100 end of life.

We recommend clients undertake a ERP migration journey about 1 year prior to their current version going out of support. This allows for ample time to plan and execute an upgrade. This timeframe can be shorter or longer depending on the complexity, customizations and add-ons used by the client environment. The time frame required can be shorter or longer. As of date, Sage support the following 100 versions:

  • Sage 100 2024
  • Sage 100 2023
  • Sage 100 2022

Sage 100 2022 will reach end of life once Sage 100 2025 has been released. This release is scheduled for April/May 2025. Click here to learn more about what is new in Sage 100 2025.
